Time Flies When You're having fun!!

Wow! I didn't realize how long it has been since I had last posted something on here. Sorry to those of you who follow this blog. I'm sure chances are, if you follow this blog you probably know what is going on in our lives.

I'll briefly let you know what is happening in our lives if you didn't know already.
January 2009 I turned 28 AHHHH!!
February 2009
Nate turned 29! Don't ask we are DOING NOTHING to celebrate next year, his request.

March 2009
We went down to visit the Kovacs for Spring Break and they announced they are pregnant.

April 2009 We found out the Kovacs (my sister Summer & bro-in-law Sean) are having twins!
May 2009 Done for the semester! Woo-Hoo! Nate went camping with some guys somewhere in southern Ohio. We went to Cedar Point with Amy & Glenn, it was a bad trip, but good times with friends.
June 2009 We attempted our first camping trip together at Pymatuning State Park...Good Times! We found out the Kovacs are having a boy & a girl and we moved to Stow.
July 2009 We went to see the Cleveland Orchestra for the 4th of July with the Ciofanis. We went to Chicago to visit our friends David and Michelle and did some sight seeing.
August 2009 So far we have been low key this month. I'm taking a summer class right now, preparing for the Kovacs baby shower and for the fall semester to start.

Here are some photos of the fun we have had since I last posted anything.

BREAK TIME!

I'm excited to announce that I am done with school for the semester and Nate is done with his thesis. Please stay tune because Nate will be defending his thesis in January and then will have his BA in Philosophy! We are so excited for Nate because this is an exciting time for him and our family. It is very tough to work full time with the demands of his job and wife and still be able to finish his thesis, but he did it! Now it's time for us to get our Christmas shopping and Christmas Baking done. We have some exciting plans with friends and family over the break, but are not completely booked, so if you have something you would like us to join in doing, we are game. I plan to make the best of my time off from school.

We have a few photos we haven't posted yet. We have had some good times the past two months, including our neice Emilee's 1st birthday!

KSU Homecoming 2008

On Saturday, we went to see the Flashes get their butts' kicked by the Bobcats. There was one really good play by the Flashes, but that was it. We left the game about 10 minutes early because we couldn't watch the suffering any longer. We weren't sure if we were going until the last minute, because of Mom's surgery. Our friends, Stacey & Nick, Erin & Jon, joined us for the game. We were able to get some good shots of us and the band. There really wasn't much to take of the game.

The End of Summer 2008

I'm taking a much needed study break to do some website updating that hasn't been done since I started classes this fall in such a "Whirlwind"! Nate and have found ourselves with little time for each other, hence the delay in a website update.

Here are some pictures from the end of our summer.

Some more pictures from the end of our 2008 summer.

We hope you all had a fabulous summer and wish you a colorful and warm fall.

All the best,

July Update

Its been a busy, yet fun July. We started it off with the beautiful wedding of the Whittingtons! I met Jess my freshman year at KSU and we became instant friends, because she is so much fun and you can't help but laugh yourself silly when you are with her. We really don't know Alan so well, he is from Scotland, so he has an awesome accent and we look forward to getting to know him better. The wedding was beautiful and full of interesting surprises. I learned that it is true what they say about what men wear under their kilts!

We went to my parents place the following day to celebrate Mom's birthday with the rest of the family. It was a great time and the food was amazing, thank you sisters!!! Of course we have photos of this exciting weekend!

We also celebrated our 2nd anniversary July 21st. It was a very low key celebration, since we both worked and I worked in the evening. The Saturday before we finally made our way to Cleveland to see Mackenzie's new digs and then had a wonderful dinner with her at Players. This Thursday my parents came up and we all enjoyed the Porthouse Theaters performance of Music Man. It was a great performance, unlike our crappy service at Mariachi's for dinner.

We are looking to forward to a fun and relaxing August, minus any writing or studying!!

Summer is flying by!

I have been busy, busy this summer and after I finish this paper hopefully there will be more time to have some fun. Nate and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary, very soon, no plans yet for what we will do to celebrate.

Here are some pictures from June, when we had a few seconds to capture a few shots.

We had a wonderful 4th of July celebration at Amy's place with some our neighbors and friends. Check out these interesting photos!

We hope you are enjoying your summer!

May

May has been a very exciting and eventful month so far. This is the last week of May and I have yet to post any pictures of all the good times this month has brought us. I am too tired right now to write anything but hopefully you can get an idea of what we have been up to by looking at the photos from this month.

Summer (the season, not my sister) is quickly approaching and we could not be happier, because that means days at the pool, bike rides, hiking, long summer evenings, barbecues with friends, driving with the windows down, sitting on the patio, grilling dinner every night, hot weather, and so much more. Getting ready to enjoy the sun!
